Merry Christmas

Bible Teaching

25 Dec

Today fulfills the expectation of the birth of Jesus Christ. Luke’s record of events acknowledges His birth in both the prophecy of location and purpose.

The purpose of our Savior was fulfilled at His death and resurrection to provide forgiveness of our sins and the promise of eternal life. That leads us to the final expectation of His second coming that we now look forward to.

The Church age in which we live sits between these two events, so it begs the question of what we do in the meantime?

Luke 2:7 reminds us that Jesus was born in the manager because there was no room for Him in the inn. We should examine our hearts and lives to be sure we have made room for Him.

We have been given the greatest gift that we could ever get; we just need to open our hearts and accept it today so we can give it to others.

I pray that each of you, and your families, have a Merry Christmas!
